Within the Catholic setting of our academy, at SS Mary & John’s we are working to prepare the children in our care for future life in a richly diverse city. As a Catholic academy, with Christ at the centre of all we do, we aim to develop a sense of peace, justice, respect and a will for our pupils to become life-long learners.

Our curriculum purposefully goes beyond the classroom. We are redesigning and improving our curriculum to meet the needs of the community we serve. Rapid improvements continue until our bespoke curriculum for all learners achieves its aims of closing the gap with national expectations. We will provide a quality of education that is progressive and relevant, tailored to the needs of all of our children.
