Our Mission Statement was rewritten in collaboration with all stakeholders during our ‘month of mission’ in October 2022. With a newly established leadership team and a rapid journey of improvement, all stakeholders decided that it was the right time to revisit and renew the mission statement of the school. We want everyone in our school community to know it, see it, feel it and remember it. Pupils, parents, governors, members of the parish and staff all contributed to form our new mission which was launched in the first half term of the academic year.

Mission Statement : Striving for excellence as disciples of Jesus, learning from St Mary and St John

The Academy’s shared mission within St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Company, is to be part of the Church’s mission, to make Christ known to all people, placing Christ and the teaching of the Catholic Church at the centre of people’s lives. By putting Christ and the teaching of the Catholic Church at the centre of the educational enterprise the Academy roots; pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development; the quality of teaching and learning; and the formation of culture and of our society, in Him. *
